Camp Barnabus

Camp Barnabas 2006

     What a great trip we had, June 15-24 to Camp Barnabas this summer for the 2nd year in a row and the third year we have gone as a group.

This camp has a powerful impact on us as individuals and as a group.  We are already planning to go back next year.  The last two years we have worked with children who are autistic or have down syndrome.  For more information about Camp Barnabas and their needs, please checkout their website at www.campbarnabas.org.  As many of you know, this camp was featured on Extreme Home Makeover back in October of 2005.

We are planning to return to Camp Barnabas in 2007.  Our dates of choice will again be for Term 3, June 14-23.  The campers who attend this camp are kids with autism or downs syndrome.  If you are interested in this mission experience, please contact David Jones at djones309@ameritech.net.  It is open to teenagers 14 and up and adults.
