What you can expect when you arrive at First Baptist Church is a biblically centered, mission oriented people. While I am fairly new to First Baptist, I can assure you that this is a place to belong. With a commitment to worship, missions, youth/children’s ministry, Bible study and life with Christ as the center, we hope that you will visit. First Baptist is a community of all ages that is ready to embrace those seeking a church family. We invite you to discover what First Baptist is all about.

Worship:

Worship is the primary gathering setting for the people of First Baptist. While there are Sunday school classes, small group, and many opportunities for ministry, we believe that worship is the foremost gathering of the people of God. Join us for either traditional (9:15 a.m.) or contemporary (11:15 a.m.) worship each Sunday morning.

What do I wear?

The short answer is anything you would like. There are some who feel most comfortable in their "Sunday best". You will see some in ties and dresses (not usually both at the same time :) ) There are others in jeans. By in large, those in the early service usually dress a bit more formal, while those in the late service are more casual. We believe that you should dress as you feel comfortable and in a way that facilitates your worship.
