James Heimlich

The Ministry Resident is a student currently enrolled a graduate degree program at Northern Seminary who receives a scholarship from the church and from our regional denomination: The American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky. 

Ministry Residents serve in ministry here at First Baptist to complement their seminary studies. James Heimlich is our current Ministry Resident pursuing a Masters in New Testament studies at Northern. He is involved in Discipleship, Outreach, Pastoral care and more. He teaches regularly, preaches in Sunday worship upon occasion, and organizes ways for our church to be involved in ministering alongside our community here in Muncie.
