Our Goals

Worship arts

Praise team, instruments and handbells

The handbell choir rehearsing

The Worship Ministry at FBCM understands that Christian worship is a lifestyle centered around responding to the revealed God of the Bible.

When we gather, worship leaders help us by:

  • Greeting people as they enter
  • Singing and playing a variety of instruments
  • Supporting through technical arts (sound, slides, livestream, etc.)
  • Leading in prayer & scripture reading
  • Serving communion

Our Praise Team consists of longtime church members, college interns, and newer friends who sing, and play a variety of instruments.

A unique aspect of our church is our hand bell choir, always looking for new members.

Children

Nursery through fifth grade

Children singing on stage at Vacation Bible School

Holistic and safe. We care for the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical needs of children from infancy through 5th grade.

Age-appropriate. FBCM has three classroom experiences, each designed with the specific age and developmental stages of children in mind.

Part of the life of the entire congregation. FBCM believes that God created the church to be intergenerational.

Children

Questions parents ask

Can children bring an offering?

Absolutely! We encourage it! There are containers in each classroom in which the children can place their offering.

Does my child need to bring a Bible?

No. But they are welcome to if they have their own. In Sunday School and Children’s Church the kids will be looking over passages in the Bible. We will certainly provide a Bible if your child does not have one.

Youth

Grades 6 to 12
